Terms & Conditions

By making a purchase on this website, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. If you have any questions prior to placing an order, please don't hesitate to contact us and we'll get back to you as quickly as we can.


Our ingredients

Our products are made with fine organic belgian chocolate.

Many of our products are vegan friendly and many do not contain gluten or nuts. However, as our facility makes products that include nuts, dairy and gluten, all our products may contain traces of these ingredients. Our ingredient labels also disclose this information. We ask that consumers with allergies carefully check the label before consuming any of our products.

If you would like to check the ingredients on a product before ordering, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

Shipping & delivery timeframes

Winnow Chocolates is based in the Blue Mountains in NSW,  Australia. We currently deliver within Australia only. We dispatch Monday to Wednesday each week, so packages are not in transit over the weekend.


Delivery is $15. For orders of $100 and over, delivery is free.

Due to the perishable nature of our products, they are usually sent by express post (sometimes by courier) and must be signed for when received. If you choose at checkout to have your package left in a safe place, we are not liable if your chocolates are damaged or melted. We will send an email confirmation including tracking details when your order has been sent. We will not be liable for parcels being lost where documentation illustrates it has been delivered. 


Shipping during hot weather

Orders are generally sent by Express Post. We take care in packaging to ensure your chocolates are received in great condition, but during the summer months we may hold off a day or two on delivery during hot weather, to avoid your chocolates melting during shipping. 

Particularly during the summer months, we recommend having your order sent to an address where someone will be available to receive the delivery. If the weather is hot at your delivery location, we may not allow your parcel to be left without being signed for.

At present, due to Covid 19, Australia Post express post timeframes are not guaranteed. Therefore during the summer months, if your delivery location is particularly remote or consistently over 30 degrees, we would probably not recommend purchasing from us at this time.

Handmade products

All of our products are handmade and packaged by us with love and care. The photos on our website are representations of our products, but exact details such as the shades in our coloured chocolates or depth of flavour in a product may vary from batch to batch, whilst still providing you with beautiful and great tasting chocolate. All handmade products may have small variations that don't impact on the overall quality of the product. Elements such as ribbon styles and colours may vary from what is shown on the website - so if these elements are important to you, please let us know when you place your order. We'll be very happy to work with you to ensure the product you receive meets your needs.


Customer satisfaction

Please contact us immediately if you are not entirely satisfied with any product that you have purchased from us. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we will work with you to resolve any issues, but due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot assist if you leave it more than 24 hours after receipt of your chocolates to contact us.
